A licensed, or Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) is one who has taken the Canadian immigration consultant course, passed the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultant’s (CICC) Entry-to-Practice exam, and met all of the mandatory requirements outlined by CCIC.
The CICC is the country-wide regulatory authority created by the Canadian Government to protect consumers who obtain the services of Canadian Immigration Consultants (learn more about CICC).
It replaced the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC). Licensed Canada Immigration Consultants, RCICs who provide Canadian immigration and citizenship services abroad are also bound by Canadian law, even if they are residing outside Canada.
