The province of Manitoba issued 243 invitations last April 8 of this year to apply for provincial nomination. Invitations distributed through provincial nomination programs are firm support for final applications for Canadian permanent residence. A total of 1870 candidates have already received invitation from Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program (MPNP) since January that is divided into three streams: Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas, and International Education Stream. Both skilled workers stream require submission of an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile from the candidates.
An overview of the results from the recent draw:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba – 208 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 456;
- Skilled Workers Overseas – 14 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 708; and
- International Education Stream – 21 invitations with no EOI score requirement. A total of 15 invitations or Letters of Advice to Apply went to Express Entry candidates
